Nene Leakes is speaking up and out about the state of the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta.’
Once a central component of the Bravo series, the star no longer features.
However, she was all sorts of vocal about what she feels needs to happen with the platform moving forward.

Speaking to TMZ while arriving at LAX Airport in Los Angeles, the RHOA veteran immediately replied “yes” when quizzed on whether execs should “blow up” the show in its current context.
Leakes, who is renowned for saying it as she feels it, candidly shared: “I think at least half of the cast should go.”
Asked whether her return would bring back the ratings for the Bravo series, the reality veteran said “of course.”

Leakes has a long history with RHOA, ranging from her many seasons on the show to the legal wrangle she has been embroiled in with execs after making claims of racism and unfair treatment.
So while, for many, her own return seems unlikely, there is a shared consensus that fresh energy is indeed needed.
And it appears that’s the situation at hand.
For, as reported, various sources – including the show’s most recent cast – have confirmed that a shake-up is on the cards.
Plans haven’t been set in stone, though. Because, as shared here on That Grape Juice, Kandi Burruss revealed as much while stressing her own desire to know what’s happening.
Reality shows aren’t popular as they used to be. Saying that, RHOA’s glory days are far behind them. They’ll never see those 2012-2018 days again no matter who returns.
For my taste, they should focus more on what it used to be in the beginnings. I liked it when the women used to be wealthy, but not rich rich and when they brought in their families and a bit of Drama. Now RH is just a promo for their own businesses and they create Drama around being served sparkling water though they ordered non sparkling. And especially for Atlanta – I think the characters are not matching and boring to begin with. Scratch Drew and that Runner. Characters Like Phaedra are missed – she is fun in married to medicine though.

Why does she keep talking about a show that didn’t want and discarded her. Girl, move on.
The interviewer asked for her opinion and she gave it honestly. She didn’t just bring it up out of the sky. Also, many fans on blogs bring her up in reference to the show and what might save it and she knows that and has expressed gratitude for that.
Well she has the right to decline to answer, she doesn’t have to respond to every question she’s asked about the show. And there are loads of exqmples of her bringing it up of her own accord.
Because she still needs that show to keep herself relevant.
Sanya has to go! Didn’t bring anything to the show and neither has Sheree.
I think bravo thought Sheree would bring a bigger impact than she actually has.
I think getting NeNe , Porsha and even Kim Z back would add a much needed amount of drama and sass to the show
